Durch Vertrag vom 22.12.1932 \u00fcbernahm er von seinem Vater Anton Schepers (geb. 1859) das Schiff \u201eANTON&#8220;, das dieser als erster Harener auf der Werft<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Gebr. van Diepen durch die Vermittlung des Kaufmannes Hermann Elfring hatte bauen lassen. Da es ein Seeschiff war, wurde es am 3.11.1934 ins Seeschiffsregister in Emden eingetragen. Es transportierte sehr h\u00e4ufig Maschinenteile der Firma McCormick von Neuss nach Berlin. Nach dem Krieg wurde es oberhalb des Hilterwehres festgemacht und diente der Familie Schepers zun\u00e4chst als Wohnung. Nach Freigabe der Emsschifffahrt brachte die \u201eANTON\u201c oftmals Spundw\u00e4nde nach Hamburg und Bremerhaven. <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Im Dezember 1963 um 7 Meter verl\u00e4ngert, nun 185 BRT. 1956 an A. Schepers jr.
