Ruwolie Motorenfabrik Climax in Rotterdam. Er nannte es \u201eZWEI GEBR\u00dcDER\u201c wegen seiner zwei S\u00f6hne und in Anlehnung an den alten Namen \u201e5 GEBR\u00dcDER VAN DER MEEDEN\u201c. Das Schiff hatte eine Tragf\u00e4higkeit von 210 t und war mit einem 80 PS Climax-Roh\u00f6lmotor ausgestattet, der 1937 durch einen st\u00e4rkeren ersetzt wurde. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Kurz nach Ausbruch des 2.Weltkriegs beschlagnahmte man das Schiff f\u00fcr 9 Monate. Bei den darauf folgenden Reisen mit Steinen vom Piesberg, Zement von Saerbeck und Kies von der Weser f\u00fcr den Ausbau der K\u00fcstenbefestigungen \u00fcberstanden Schiff und Besatzung zahlreiche Bombenangriffe in Bremen und Wilhelmshaven. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Gegen Ende des Krieges gelang es, das Schiff nach Haren zu bringen, wo man es im Haren-R\u00fctenbrock-Kanal bei der Gastst\u00e4tte Knepper anlegte. Kapit\u00e4n Wilhelm Sibum tauschte 1951 das ihm geh\u00f6rende Binnenschiff \u201eGEBINA\u201c gegen die \u201eZWEI GEBR\u00dcDER\u201c seines Vaters.
