Das Schiff ohne Motor und Luken erhielt den Namen \u201eGRETE\u201c. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">1928 lie\u00df er sich das Segelschiff mit Hilfsmotor \u201eSPES MEA\u201c erbauen. Das Schiff lief alle deutschen Seeh\u00e4fen an. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Im November 1937 wurde das Schiff an Kapit\u00e4n Caspar Wessels verkauft. Sein Sohn Stephan Wessels wurde 1949 Eigent\u00fcmer. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">1952 erfolgte der Einbau einer st\u00e4rkeren Maschine mit 180 PS. Aus gesundheitlichen Gr\u00fcnden lie\u00df Stephan Wessels 1958 die \u201eSPES MEA\u201c in ein Binnenschiff umbauen. Es wurde dann um 20 Meter verl\u00e4ngert und konnte 500 t Ladung transportieren. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">1972 verkaufte er das Schiff an den Schiffer Hermann Gerdelmann.1984 wurde das Schiff stillgelegt.
